APRIL
4/15 – WFFS Outing – San Diego Gulls Hockey vs Tucson Roadrunners – Pechenga Arena – 7pm
First come, first serve! We have 30 tickets and our own group section for the hockey game. Please contact Susan or Junior if interested in attending.

4/18 – Represent Warrior Foundation at SeaWorld – either April 18 and/or 19 from 9:30am – 2pm

4/22 – 365 Connect with Home Depot coming to Freedom Station III to Build Projects 7:30am – 3pm
We will have 50 Home Depot employees on site to help build projects from office furniture, shelving, a moveable gazebo, etc. Please be on hand wearing your WFFS swag and showing support. Please be prepared to speak to media about
4/27 – Cancer Lunch/Serious Illness at Casa de Reyes at 11:30am – 2pm.
If you are dealing with cancer or a serious illness, please contact Andy or Mike for more information. This event is also open to caregivers.
4/28 – Monthly Balboa Lunch at Building 26 at Naval Medical Center – San Diego – 12pm – 1pm
If you have base access, come swing by our monthly lunch in the Liberty Center at Balboa. Come break bread with active-duty who are on the medical evaluation board and looking ahead at their next chapter.
MAY
5/8-10 Streak Over the Hill Gang – Campland on the Bay
The 53nd Annual Streak is on 8/9 May 2026. Hosted annually on Mother’s Day weekend at Campland on The Bay, Mission Bay, San Diego by the Over The Hill Gang San Diego Car Club.

5/9 – Encinitas Ball Drop in Encinitas – 5-7pm
No need for volunteers, but spread the word to North County Peeps.
5/9 – Echoes & Frontier Auction Fundraiser – 4:30pm – 9:30pm – Paradise Point Resort – San Diego
Hosted by the San Diego Chapter of Safari Club. We have four seats available for this fundraiser.
5/13 – Navy Wounded Warrior Health Symposium – Admiral Baker
Residents: Need Two volunteers to share information about WFFS. Please contact Mike or Susan for more information.
5/23 – Represent Warrior Foundation at SeaWorld – either May 23, 24 and/or 25 from 9:30am – 2pm

6/4 – Dress for Success – Macy’s Fashion Valley – 8am – 12pm
Residents: If you have not attended Dress for Success as a recipient and are in good standing with our housing program, then you may qualify to participate and receive free business attire. Please see Mike for more information at michael.mccoy@warriorfoundation.org.
6/19, 20, 21 – Nascar comes to Coronado!
We will have a tent/booth there. More info to come. Great way to see a Nascar race and get our word out to visitors. More info to come but if you are interested, let Susan or Mike know.
6/24 – Connect 365 + Home Depot at the Midway
6/28 – Possible Progressive Dinner for Medtronic for Senior Executives at all Three Stations – 5:30-7pm
This is on a Sunday so this is not mandatory, but if you at Freedom Station, please come introduce yourself.
6/29 – Medtronic National Sales Meeting Event – 5pm
Warrior Foundation is speaking at this event at the Gaylord resort for about 15-20 minutes.
